The oracle has spoken. Our greenhouse gases are driving the temperature up. Infallible computer models, based on distorted dogma, and tuned inputs show that we will be frying a hundred years from now.

Of course solar inputs have been ignored as irrelevant. Solar and cosmic forces used to be the sole driver of climate. Now mankind is in charge.

The clarion call of the coming disaster has been carried far and wide by the knee jerk media and it has had full coverage on the BBC, CNN, CBC and elsewhere.

On the other hand those who believe that solar and cosmic forces are still the major drivers of the earth's climate see cooling is likely by mid century. (see below: COOLER BY 2050)

Meanwhile millions continue to be killed by the poisons we dump into the atmosphere.

SEA LEVEL RISING --- No Great Flooding in Sight

Figure One --- 25,000 years ago at the peak of the last ice age all of the Arctic Ocean and much of the nearby land was covered by ice thousands of feet thick.Now the only sizable ice mass left is Greenland.

Figure Two --- The last big melt took 10,000 years at a rate of sea level rise of 1.0 meter per century.

Figure Three --- Over the last century sea level has risen 0.2 meters.

MANY SCREAMING ALARMISTS ARE WARNING OF SEA LEVEL RISES OF TEN TO TWENTY FEET IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE. THE RECENT IPCC REPORT HAS A MUCH LOWER ESTIMATE OF 0.5 METERS OR LESS. It is easy to see why. There is far less ice here now when compared to the last big melt.

The IPCC report notes, that despite melting around its fringes Antarctica is still gaining mass and will not be a big contributor to sea level rise in the foreseeable future.

IPPC SUMMARY ---A Benchmark of Human Folly, Conceit and Deceit

FOLLY --- Our fumes are estimated to kill 3,000,000 a year and do great harm to other life on earth BUT we have decided the most important action is to manage CO2 (the benign gas of plant life)) to control climate.

CONCEIT --- Solar irradiance and cosmic forces are recognized as the driver in the past, but since 1950 greenhouse gases and other human inputs are supreme. This at a time when solar activity, sunspots and temperature are at a 1,000 year high, equal to that of the Medieval Warm Period. The forecast is that this activity will peak at the top of sunspot cycle 24 in 2010. It is going to get hotter, the driver will be solar.

CONCEIT AND DECEIT --- The conceit that we can produce meaningful hundred year charts. The deceit of failing to warn that both the Russians and NASA are predicting that sunspot cycle 25 is expected to be subdued and that it could be the initiation of a major solar induced cooling cycle.

SOLAR COOLING IN THE NEXT 50 YEARS COULD EASILY OVERWHELM ANY EFFORTS OF MAN TO MANAGE THE CLIMATE.

SEA LEVEL RISE --- The projected rise in the sea level has been reduced to a litttle over a foot in the next century. Far below the 10 to 20 feet predicted by the raving crier of doom.

GETTING CHINA TO CLEAN UP --- No flooding in sight. If you are stupid to send us your capital we have lots of carbon credits to sell. The IPPC report will be ignored as a pipe dreams out of Europe. Increasing killer smogs is the only real force which will get action to clean up.

ACTION --- There is no quick fix. The cleanup will take decades.We need to reduce our fumes from fossil fuels for two reasons: the fumes are killing us: and the resources will not last forever. Go nuclear for part of the the solution.

KYOTO --- Canada should take the lead to have Kyoto focus on pollution rather than climate control.

At times we humans get blinded by our own B.S.

Scholars, media types and politicians are not immune.

REMEMBER Y2K --- The problem was real, but manageable. but by December 1,999 it had grown into a hurrican of fear. The trigger point was hit on January 1 2,000 and nothing happened.

NOW 6 YEARS LATER --- A new swarm of zeolots are screaming (based on science that many think is flawed) that a relatively small increase in CO2 (the benign food of plant life) is about to cause CATSTROPHIC CLIMATE CHANGE.

THROUGHOUT ALL TIME SOLAR AND COSMIC FORCES HAVE DRIVEN CLIMATE CHANGE. This still holds and will continue forever and ever.

In the last 400 years solar and sunspot activity have come from a 5,000 year low to a 1,000 year high and temperatures are again at the Medeival Warm Period high.

This accounts for most and perhaps all of the the recent GLOBAL WARMING.

WATER AS A GREENHOUSE GAS --- When water is included as a greenhouse the impact of CO2 etc. is marginalized to only 5%. Water is up to 4% of the atmosphere.
THE PUNY ROLE OF MANMADE CO2--- Herein man's impact is reduced to less than 0.3 per cent.
MELTING OF THE ICE CAPS --- In the polar regions there is a recognized link between
the solar winds, focused to strike there by the Van Allen Belts, and the cloud cover.
In the last 40 years the ice has been melting like butter on a hot skillet. This is occuring when solar irradiance and sunspot activity is at a 1,000 year high equal to that of the Medieval Warm Period.

GREENHOUSE GAS WITHOUT WATER --- Not including water as a greenhouse gas highly distorts its impact on global warming. This is the view used by Al Gore and others to excite the unenformed masses to a panic level.

If the above chart split greenhouse gases in to water and CO2 etc. The CO2 component would dissapear into the weeds and cease being a trigger for unwarreted fear.

KILLER SMOGS AND POLLUTION --- Despite our rejection of the top of the chart the bottom is enlightening. Sulphates are representive of the killer components of smog.
These kill millions per year BUT THEIR MURK DECREASES GLOBAL WARMING.Cleaning up thesmog will tend to raise temperature.

THE BOTTOM LINE --- BOTH OF THE QABOVE SITUATIONS DEMAND THE SAME SOLUTION. NAMELY REDUCE OUR USE OF FOSSIL FUELS.THE FUMES ARE KILLING US AND THE RESOURCES WILL NOT LAST FOREVER.

TEMPERATURE DRIVES GREENHOUSE GASES

18,000 YEARS AGO THE EARTH WAS A VERY CHILLY PLANET WITH LOTS OF ICE AND THE BIOSPHERE WAS WORKING AT A LOW EBB.

NOW MUCH OF THE ICE HAS GONE AND THE BIOSHPERE IS VERY ACTIVE THROWING OFF ABUNDANT CARBON OXIDE, METHANE AND OTHER GREENHOUSE GASES. WHEN ONES LOOKS AT THE EXPLOSION IN FORESTS AND LIFE IN THE OCEANS THE INCREASE IS NOT SURPRISING. AS IT CONTINUES GET HOTTER THESE GASES WILL CONTIUUE TO INCREASE AS THEY HAS BEEN DOING SINCE THE LITTLE ICE AGE.

The above process of temperature driving the volume of green house gases has been repeated in every ice age swing throughout all time.

THE TOP CHART --- is the Famous "Hockey Stick" which ends with a dramatic take off
attributed to the the impact of the industrial revolution driven by greenhouse gases.

This is turn leads to the conclusion that we are getting close to trigger points and a catastrophic rise in temperature is in sight.

This warming in turn will trigger a rapid rise in sea levels and threaten hundreds of millions.

THE BOTTOM CHART --- is based on the fact that over time solar related forces have driven climate change of our planet. They always have, are now and always will.

This chart accounts for the Medival Warm Period ( when Iceland, New Zealand and Hawaii were settled) and The Little Ice Age (the hockey stick chart does not show this.)

In the last 400 years the solar irradiance and sunspot activity has rebounded from a 5,000 year low in the 1600s to a 1,000 year high to-day.

The open wounds in the ozone layer in the polar region may be adding to the warming.

NAIROBI MEETING ---CORRECT SPEAK ONLY!

PRESENT --- 180 nations.

NOT UNDER THE TENT --- The dirty coal burners: U.S., China, India, Australia. (Fumes from Asia project to double in the next 25 years)

IGNORED --- Solar forces drive climate, always have, are now, and always will. (Solar irradiance up from a 5,000 year low in the Little Ice Age in the 1600's, to a 1000 year high to-day, accounting for at least 75% of the global warming over the last 400 years.)

DOGMA --- The current global warming (Climate Change) is driven by man-made CO2 etc. and we can and must fix it. (CO2 is 4 parts in 10,000 in the atmosphere. It is the benign food of plant life. It was five times higher in the past when early mammals
thrived. Now we are told it is the force driving climate.)

ENVIROMENTAL TERRORISTS --- Al Gore, Tony Blair and others, if we don't act now we could trigger Catastrophic Climate Change within ten years. Sea level will rise 10 feet or more in the not too distant future, hundreds of millions are at risk. (If your science is weak shout loudly and beat the drums of fear.)

SHAME --- Canada banished to the company of the dirty coal burners because we paused to rethink and refocus. (Since the science is engraved in stone, back sliders will be ostracized.)

KOFI ANNAN --- The damage to date is very real. Africa is hard hit (I agree) Needs $100 billion from the sinners. (We will take it, but don't tell us how to spend it.) (Africa's slash and burn farming and their firewood economy is one of the forces affecting their climate. Share some of the blame for your pain!)
The science is sound "based on clear and rigorous scienticfic modelling (He accepts Tony's Stern Report as gospel. I and many others consider it at its best highly flawed and at the worst junk.)

IGNORED --- Killer smogs and pollution estimated by some to kill as many as 3,000,000 annually. The benign gas CO2 is not the killer, NOxs, SOx's, ground level ozone, particulates and many other man-made poisons are.

REFOCUS KYOTO --- From trying to control climate to reducing pollution.

FOSSIL FUELS --- We need to reduce our use of fossil fuels for two reasons. The fumes are killing us and the resources won't last forever.

RONA AMBROSE --- KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

ON TO BALI--- Canada should use the next year to get a better fix on the science and agree on how we should go forward.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO READ THIS DATA OR THAT OF WILLIE SOON 2005 AND BERNER 2002 (see above). SUNSPOT ACTIVITY AND SOLAR IRRADIANCE DRIVE THE TEMPERATURE ON EARTH.

SUNSPOT ACTIVITY WAS HIGH IN THE MEDIVAL WARM PERIOD WHEN ICELAND, NEW ZEALAND AND HAWAII WERE COLONIZED.

SUNSPOTS QUIT FOR 50 YEARS IN THE 1600'S, AND SOLAR ACTIVITY WAS AT A 5,000 YEAR LOW! AND WORLD WENT INTO THE DEEP FREEZE OF THE LITTLE ICE AGE!

NOW ONCE AGAIN SUNSPOTS ARE AT 400/1000/4000 YEAR HIGH AND THE WORLD HAS HEATED UP AGAIN AND ARE NOW AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE MEDIVAL WARM PERIOD.

IN ADDITION, I SEE THE CATASTROPHIC MELTING OF THE ARCTIC ICE IN THE LAST 4O YEARS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE HAVE BURNT HOLES IN THE OZONE LAYER, ALLOWING ADDITIONAL RADIATION TO REACH THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH.

I CONCLUDE THAT MAN'S DESCRATION OF THE ATMOSPHERE IS A COINCIDENT, UNRELATED EVENT WITH LITTLE EFFECT ON GLOBAL WARMING! THE FACT THAT THIS POLLUTION IS ESTIMATED TO KILL 3,000,000 A YEAR DEMANDS THAT WE CLEAN UP THE MESS.

Figure One: Shows the close tie between sunspots and temperature with clouds acting as the interface between solar irradiance and the atmosphere of the earth.

Figure Two: Again shows the close tie between sunspots and temperature with carbon dioxide following.

The obvious observations are that the past interaction between the sun and the earth remains in tack.

It also implys that some of the recent rise in greenhouse gases has been the result of solar heating.

It is also noted that these observations are in harmony with Willie Soon(see below)
who concludes that all of the "SURFACE ARCTIC TEMPERATURE" for the last 130 years can be attrbuted to solar irradiance.

THE CAUTION REMAINS THAT MUCH OF THE CURRENT GLOBAL WARMING IS DUE TO THE 400/1000/4000 YEAR HIGH IN SUNSPOT ACTIBITY. IF THIS IS SO THE EFFORT TO CONTROL CLIMATE BY REDUCING CO2 EMMISIONs WILL NOT WORK.

ACTION -- THERE ARE TWO REASONS WHY WE SHOULD MOVE TO REDUCE OUR CONSUMPTION OF FOSSIL FUELS. FIRST THE FUMES ARE KILLING US. AND SECOND THE RESOURCES WILL NOT LAST FOREVER. IN THE MEANTIME WE SHOULD INCREASE OUR EFFORTS TO CLEAN UP THE AIR.
