These are cosmic flux from the galaxy --- Solar irradiance and sunsunspots from the sun.--- and viarances in the earth orbit relative to the sun, Milankovitch Cycles

Down into ice ages. Up heating the oceans, the main mass of the biosphere, and with a time lag of a few centuries explosive increases in carbon dioxide, the benign food of plant life, and methane the product of biosphere decay.

THESE SOLAR DRIVERS ARE STILL VERY MUCH IN PLAY TO DAY AND MUST BE INCLUDED IN ANY EXPLAINATION AND MODELS OF CLIMATE CHANGE.
