GLOBAL WARMING --- Recent Visitors to the Arctic

Jack McKenize, who skiied to the north pole at 78, and Bill Lieshman, of "Fly Away Home" have just returned from the Arctic.

They found little ice, hungry polar bears waiting for it to freeze so they could hunt for seals, and well fed musk oxen!

CFCs have blown holes in the ozone layers increasing the impact of solar radiation and winds.

Sun spot activity is at a 400 years high.

There is nothing we can do.

The hope is that the holes will gradually heal in 50 years or so.

Perhaps the sunspot activity will abate.

The Artic Sea ice is melting like butter in a hot skillet.

If it continues at the present rate it will be half gone by 2050 and all gone by the end of the century.
